N-power Batch C: Payment Status declared Pending Solution

The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) in an update on the N-Power Batch C volunteers, disclosed that the payment issues experienced by her beneficiaries are closer to being resolved.

NASIMS noted that as beneficiaries laid previous complaints about the display of error messages like ‘Failed Payment’ and ‘No Payment Data Available’ with regards to the obtainment of their stipends, have now been changed to “Pending.”

The NASIMS Board of directives had previously revealed some of the reasons for the delayed payments. Some of the reasons listed by the board included:

  • Non-completion of the physical verification exercise
  • Provision of invalid/wrong account details
  • Non-provision of account details
  • Failure to provide Bank Verification Number (BVN)
  • The incoherence of information on different documents.

NASIMS stated that once the resolution cannot be instantaneous once it has been updated, but will take a few days before the changes made on the site can reflect. The site has now confirmed that all payment issues have been resolved some days back and the Batch C beneficiaries, can now visit their profile page as the resolution has reflected on every volunteer’s page.

The board noted that the first page of the payment tab now displays the ‘Pending’ status.

All the N-power beneficiaries from the Batch C stream of the program are advised to log in to their NASIMS page to confirm the update, following the resolution.

However, Batch C volunteers who still have any issues yet to be resolved or the update yet to be reflected on their page, are encouraged to exercise patience as they will soon be resolved and the payments of the stipends, will surely be made.

The NASIMS Board also released some related information, which includes:

Collation of account details and the resolution of payment issues are still ongoing

Resolution of the payment issues has been rectified, and the first step to the payment process is a pending payment status.

Candidates who submitted the wrong account details, and other affected beneficiaries, should call the NASIMS support lines 092203102 and 018888340 to lodge their complaints and provide the correct details.
