African Law Students’ Association (ALSA) is a unifying body of law students and lawyers in African. ALSA is certified by the Registrar – General of Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Nigeria, and certified for worthiness.
The program was made available to educate lawyers, law students, and non-lawyers on the introduction and general overview of the legal practice.
The ALSA School of Legal Studies makes use of Open and Distance Education methods, providing easy access and flexibility of the program to its participants.
Everyone is eligible to participate in the program, as it is not restricted to Lawyers and Law Students. The Participants will be issued paid certificates at the end of each course.
ALSA School of Legal Studies implements international standards in their practice, not found in the conventional and localized institutions. The study materials are prepared in ODL format, which is straightforward.
Registrations into the ALSA Program, are a continuous process, just like the exams. This means that examinations for a course can be held as much as twenty times in a year or more. Once the exams are set the exam, everyone is expected to write; carryover students and non-carryover students likewise.
Some Law courses are not offered by most institutions, but the ALSA board wishes to incorporate that in the programs of the affected institutions soonest.
