Aim of the Program
It is worthy to let known you that the aim of this program is to encourage Nigerians/ youths to return to farming. The involvement of NASS members; civil servants, public servants, etc would be highly encouraged. This would encourage participation from organizations down to family units.
The programme will provides the following:
Farm Inputs Initiative Agricultural inputs:
- Improved seeds,
- Fertilizers,
- Machinery,
- Environmentally friendly crop protection chemicals
Training will be provided for already existing farmers at 50% subsidy. This will improve the yield of the farmers while addressing national food safety

NALDA means National Agricultural Land Development Authority. It is an agency under ministry of agriculture. It was created by General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida in 1992 under military head of state. It was recreated by President Buhari on 1st June, 2020. The agency overseer agricultural programmes such as NALDA volunteer program, Back to Farm programs and Buhari Young Farmers Program.
