QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
In all cases, candidates are required to possess appropriate skills and orientations for respective discipline as well as possess teaching abilities with adequate research experience.
1. Professor: Ph.D. degree with specialization in the discipline applied for with evidence of academic leadership in terms of publications, project design execution and monitoring, administrative leadership etc. minimum 10 years of post-qualification, full time relevant teaching and research experience.
Researches with Professors who meet prescribed internationally recognized contributions are moved to Research Scholar scale which offers internationally competitive remuneration to such grade of academics.
2. Associate Professor (Reader): Same as for Professor but with minimum 8 years post –qualification, full time, relevant teaching and research experience.
3. Senior Lecturer: Same as for Professor but with minimum 5 years of post- qualification, full time, relevant teaching and research experience.
4. Lecturer I: Ph.D. degree from a reputable university, with minimum 2 years of post -qualification teaching experience, and evidence of scholarly publications.
5. Lecturer II: Ph.D Degree from a reputable University. However, fresh Ph.D holders shall not be evaluated on the publication criterion. For professional courses, candidates with the Master’s Degree and full corporate registration certificates from professional associations by an act of the National Assembly can apply.
6. Assistant Lecturer: A Master’s Degree in relevant disciplines with a CGPA or percentage score suitable for undertaking Ph.D programmes. Such candidates must satisfy their Departments and Colleges that they possess the skills for sustained
academic careers.

The system technician must be well-versed in computer systems and network functions. The goal is to install and maintain high-quality networks and computer systems
Responsibilities:
Set up hardware and install and configure software and drivers
Maintain and repair technological equipment (e.g. routers) or peripheral devices
Install well-functioning LAN/WAN and other networks and manage components
(servers, IPs etc.)

2. Network Technician Position Description
The system technician must be well-versed in computer systems and network functions.

Installing and configuring network hardware components and cables.
Configuring network software.
Identifying and eliminating bottlenecks to ensure long-term network efficiency.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues with the network.
Ensuring the network operates securely.

Collaborating with other members of the IT team and management.
Performing necessary upgrades to the network infrastructure as needed.
Requirements:
Diploma/OND in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Certified Network Professional accreditation.

3. Multimedia / System Technician Position Description
The system technician must be well-versed in computer systems and network functions and must possess a great analytical ability order to solve issues and ensure functionality. The goal of the position is to install and maintain high quality networks and computer systems
Job Summary:
Schedules and arranges for the use of audiovisual equipment for faculty, staff and students upon request; maintains reservation schedule including the type of equipment, the time needed and time scheduled to return Troubleshoot and perform smart screen maintenance
Set up hardware and install and configure software and drivers
Provide technical advice and explanation as required
Assist in training related to technical issues
Provide technical support to co-workers
Assist Media Technician, Senior or supervisor with computer interfacing and audio and video system interface.
Catalogs, and maintains, and may repair slides and films as needed
Checks outgoing and incoming equipment for damages or malfunctions.
Performs preventative maintenance and cleaning on audiovisual equipment and minor repairs equipment as needed.
Provides instruction to faculty, staff and students in regard to audiovisual equipment operation; sets up audiovisual equipment according to needs of requesting person(s), determining needs according to size of facility and audience
Requirement:
Diploma/OND in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Previous experience in a similar role.

4. Software Developers Position Description:
A. Senior Developer

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
7-9 years of experience in software development.

5. Web Developer / Webmaster
Job Summary:
Design, Maintain websites and generate / revise web pages for the University
Ensure the web servers; hardware and software are operating accurately
Writing efficient code
Examine and analyze site traffic.
Working closely with web designers and programmers to produce the website
Constant communication with relevant university’s authorities to develop and
deploy their content and uploads.
Implementing contingency plans in case the website goes down
Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the website once built
Managing a team might also be part of the job role
Requirements:
A first degree in Computer Science or any related field and a minimum 3 years
cognate experience in a related position.
Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in web analytics and the use of HTML/CSS, XML, SQL & JavaScript is required
Also, applicants must:
