FUNAAB Direct Entry: Requirements and Application Guideline 2020/2021

Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta acronym FUNAAB is located at Alabata Road, Abeokuta.

Due to COVID- 19 FUNAAB is yet to officially released his/her Direct Entry form. However, prospective candidates should be prepared as we expect schools to open very soon.

So also, the form will be out September, 2020. The following are FUNAAB direct entry requirements and application guidelines.

What is FUNAAB Direct entry?

FUNAAB direct entry is admission of students in to 200 level. The school admits students to study the following courses:

• Agriculture-related courses
• Engineering related courses
• Biosciences related courses
• Physical Sciences
• Veterinary Medicine Courses

FUNAAB Direct Entry Requirements

To gain admission to FUNAAB. The following are the requirements:

• Prospective candidates must have at least 6 credit passed at O’level including English and Mathematics.

• Candidates are expected to possess a minimum of Upper Credit at ND or HND.

• NCE candidates are expected to possess Credit from a recognised college of education for admissions into related programmes.

• At least two A-Level/IJMB/JUPEB passes in the following: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Biology/Zoology/Botany are acceptable for admission into 200 Level.

• Candidates are expected to obtain JAMB/UTME Direct Entry form.

Note:

FUNAAB will not consider candidate with lower credit for Admission.

FUNAAB Direct Entry Application Guidelines

Please sit down and read the following application guide.

• Access the school application portal through this link portal.funaab.edu.ng
• Candidate should click on “Apply for Admission”
• Enter your JAMB registration details
• Print out your invoice slip at the portal which contains your reference number
• Proceed to pay a sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only plus one hundred naira remita charges
• After payment, come back to the admission portal to complete registration.
• Correctly input your biodata, O’level results, OND/HND/NCE/A-Level/IJMB/JUPEB results as applicable.
• Upload recent passport photograph
• Ensure you scrutinize entry before you finally click on submit.
• Print acknowledgment slip

FUNAAB Direct Entry Transcript Submission Guidelines

Candidates are expected to forward their Academic Transcripts to the University Registrar prior to the closing date of the application.

Candidates can use any of the courier services or submission by hand directly to the university registrar office.

Candidates are expected to check their transcript submission status online prior to the closing date.

FUNAAB InterVarsity Transfer

For candidates seeking admission through InterVarsity transfer can also register through their JAMB/UTME registration number and upload their photographs, academic records and others.

FUNAAB Direct Entry Pre Screening Exams

After application and submission of the transcript, candidates seeking admission are expected to sit for Pre Screening exams in the form of a Computer-based Test (CBT). Successful candidates would be invited for a short interview prior to the offer of admission.

Does FUNAAB Accept IJMB for Admission?

Yes….IJMB means for Interim Joint Matriculation Board. The programme is among the Advanced Level (A’ Level) Admission program. The program was set up to serve as alternative method of gaining admission to higher institution in Nigeria.

Does FUNAAB set Past questions for FUNAAB direct entry candidates?

All schools set past questions for their major exams. Besides lecturers do not have time to start setting new questions.

What is the FUNAAB school fees for Direct entry Students?

FUNAAB school fees is between N20,250 to N30,250 for 200level students while 300 level and above students pay between N18,250 to N28,250. This depends on the course/programme.

Yes!. FUNAAB is one of the competitive university in Nigeria. In fact, FUNAAB is among the most competitive Federal university.

What’s FUNAAB Direct Entry Cut off Mark?

The cut off Mark for FUNAAB direct entry is 50%. However, FUNAAB also consider aggregate score of 50%. This means starting from your O’level to Post UTME score is grade on scale. It is advisable for candidates to take the post UTME serious.

How many minutes is FUNAAB post UTME exams?

The post UTME exams is about 25 to 30minutes exams. You’re required to answer 50 questions within this time range.
