JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE POSITION OF FINANCIAL WRITER – GovCon INDUSTRY
- The successful candidate will write financial stories containing information from news, research, and media reports according to Executive Mosaic’s editorial guidelines.
- Keep up-to-date with developments in financial markets.
- Use observations about investment strategies, wealth strategies, and timely issues to generate insightful content.
- These factual, accurate, and original stories are written for an American audience following the inverted pyramid style.
- Will utilize training and feedback to improve story quality and quantity, and gain command of the market coverage.
- To be successful in this position he/she will need to be organized, confident, motivated, and possess good initiative and time management skills.
Job Requirements:
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related fields.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in Financial writing, news writing, reporting, or content repurposing.
- Experience in the stock data analysis is preferred
- Above average written and spoken English (AP writing style experience a plus).
- Excellent English grammar and composition skills.
