The Digital Designer is in charge of producing high-quality, on-brand creative for emails, web sites, social media graphics, banner ads, and other digital aspects. The Digital Designer will manage, design, and schedule email campaigns, collaborate with our in-house Digital Marketing team and in-house Graphic Design team to create compelling digital and social media campaigns, work with our e-Commerce team and developers to ensure aesthetics are aligned with usability, accessibility, and web standards, and ensure brand consistency across all digital customer touchpoints.

Qualifications:
• Can follow creative direction and use feedback from a variety of team members to fine-tune and improve designs
• Maintain intranet pages, blogs, social media websites, newsletters, newspapers, and magazines, as well as provide desktop publishing and presentation support.
• Excellent design and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work as part of a team, finish projects on time and on budget, pay close attention to detail, and juggle several tasks and projects, are all desirable traits.
• Create promotional and automated email campaigns, landing pages, banner advertisements, and social media pictures with the assistance of cross-functional teams.
• External printing coordination of planned and created printed content approved by the Marketing & Communications Manager.
• In all internal and external communications, make sure that images and logos are used correctly. All internal visuals, as well as any aesthetic changes, must be evaluated and/or approved by the Marketing & Communications Manager before being used.
• The graphic designer must be able to bring together numerous components of a design, such as branding programs, according to the art director’s criteria.
• Possess the ability to design presentations and fact-based/educational materials for print, internet, and social media campaigns.
• Have 3 years of digital marketing design expertise, with an emphasis on digital channels.
• Select the strategies that are best suited to generating the desired visual effects, and make suggestions for ways and mediums to get the desired result.
Skills:
• Strong PC skills and application experience are required, with Microsoft Excel, Hyperion, and SAP being preferred.
• Graphic arts or visual arts/communications bachelor’s degree is necessary. The bachelor’s degree may be waived if the candidate has a related Master’s degree in visual information and graphics design from an approved institution, or if the candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and at least ten (10) years of recent experience in visual information and graphics design.
• The Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat), as well as Macintosh machines, are required.
• Working knowledge of web-based collaborative technologies.
• Experiential knowledge of illustrating concepts by designing rough layouts of art and copy in terms of arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts, obtaining concept approval by submitting rough layouts for approval, and preparing finished copy and art for production and printing
