What is the Youth Employment in Agric-business and Sustainable Agriculture (YEASA) Program 2020?
The Youth Employment in Agribusiness and Sustainable Agriculture; is an empowerment program that aims at providing increased technical, business, and entrepreneurial skills for youths.
What is YEASA Training courses?
Selected youths will be exposed to the best practices in the following:
- Equipment fabrication
- Feed mill
- Soybean/cowpea production
- Maize production
- Plantain production
- Mango production
- Moringa production
- Cassava production
- Rice production
- Fish production

What is the Criteria for Selection?
Below are the direct and indirect target group:
The programme target 1,000 unskilled and unemployed rural youth with at least secondary education in Nigeria.
What is the Recruitment process?
The recruitment process is an online process where by application formmust be fill online thereafter training for successful candidates.
Successful trainees are going to be awarded certificates and grants.

What are the Recruitment Screening Criteria ?
Evidence of Age (18-35 years)
What are the states focused on Nigeria?
The only states in focus are Ekiti and Oyo state. However, youths from outside these states can apply.
Where is the venue for the programme?
This training will take place in Afe Babalola University Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), and Africa Rice Center (AfricaRice).
When is the application closing?
The application is closing on 31st July, 2020.
